THE PROBLEM
Still making critical decisions based on samples?
Not because you want to. Because until now, there was no alternative.
Counting and measuring every individual object in a complex, real-world flow has been - for decades - considered too slow, too costly, or simply impossible. So industries sampled. They measured a fraction, extrapolated to the whole, and accepted the error as unavoidable.
Computer vision promised to change this. But detection is not the measurement. Seeing an object is not the same as identifying it, tracking it, and counting it with metrological reliability.
